Sharon Cuneta to KC Concepcion: 'I hope you marry someone who'll stand up for you'

Sharon Cuneta is glad that Piolo Pascual has finally spoken up about the issue of his son, Iñigo, supposedly badmouthing her daughter KC Concepcion. Piolo’s statement in defense of KC came after Sharon openly called on Piolo to speak up about the issue. “I knew that it (controversy) wasn’t really naman from Piolo and it wasn’t Piolo, but pagdating sa anak ko, hindi ko naman kailangang makipagplastikan sa ibang tao kahit kay Piolo dahil hindi ko naman ikasisikat 'yon,”

Sharon justified on The Buzz last Sunday. “Parang ‘yung ano ko, I hope he says something also, although alam ko namang naiipit siya siyempre and he did.”

The Megastar said that she is glad that KC has been vindicated and is happy that Piolo exerted effort even if it was not easy for him. “Parang he stood up for her. I really appreciate that, at the same time, he protected his son na tama rin.” Sharon also explained that it is okay if others criticize her daughter’s works in the business but not her personality. “Okay lang ‘yung may pintas ‘di ba sa work mo? Pero ‘pag medyo nagiging personal na and you don’t know my daughter and she’s not doing anything wrong to anybody, parang sandali lang,” Sharon explained.

Sharon said that she is so proud that KC (who is also one of the hosts of The Buzz) has achieved so much at her age and said that she is not worried if KC decides to get married soon. “I hope you marry someone like daddy (Sen. Francis Pangilinan), who’s gonna fight for you, who’ll stand up for you, love you,” Sharon told KC.
