Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Plot Summary: "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" captures the fun, adventure and humor that ignited the hit franchise --this time in Disney Digital 3D(TM). In this action-packed tale of truth, betrayal, youth and demise, Captain Jack Sparrow crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penelope Cruz), and he's not sure if it's love--or if she's a ruthless con artist who's using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth.

When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn't know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.

Rush reprises his role as the vengeful Captain Hector Barbossa, and Kevin R. McNally returns as Captain Jack's longtime comrade Joshamee Gibbs. Claflin stars as a stalwart missionary, while Berges-Frisbey is transformed into a mysterious mermaid.

Coco Martin will continue doing indie movies

Coco Martin
Although Coco Martin has signed a four-picture contract with Star Cinema, he said that he has no intention of giving up doing indie movies. “Dun ako nagsimula tsaka never kong tatalikuran ‘yung pinanggalingan ko,” he explained.

He also revealed that he is already slated to start working on a new indie film while he is currently shooting for the Star Cinema movie Sa ‘Yo Lamang.

In comparison to indie movies, Coco said that since there is enough money in mainstream movies to take care of all the needs of actors and staff. “Dito sa mainstream sobrang relax, eh siyempre well-budgeted. Nandyan na lahat ang kailangan mo,” he admitted.

Sa ‘Yo Lamang is Coco’s first mainstream movie, which also stars Bea Alonzo, Christopher de Leon, Lorna Tolentino, Erich Gonzales, Enchong Dee, and Shaina Magdayao. “Isa kaming pamilya tapos ate ko si Bea. Ako ‘yung sumunod na anak, pangatlo si Enchong. Kuwento ng isang pamilya na nasira na pilit na binubuo,” Coco revealed.

He also talked about the movie projects he is slated to do. “[Pagkatapos] nung Sa ‘Yo Lamang tapos ‘yung Dalaw kasama ko dito si Ms. Kris Aquino, si Diether Ocampo at si Mariel Rodriguez, directed by Jerry Lopez-Sineneng. Tapos excited ako dun sa movie namin ni John Lloyd (Cruz) kung sakaling matuloy.”
